Cigar Lighter: Removal

Remove the instrument panel accessory center trim plate. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER TRIM PLATE  . Remove the cigar lighter rear retainer (3) from the cigar element housing. See Figure . Remove the cigar element housing and element from the center trim plate by turning counterclockwise 90 degrees and pushing on the back of the element housing. Remove the cigar lighter lamp lens (2) from the center trim plate (1). See Figure .
