Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP drivers knee bolster reinforcement. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
    • The plastic retainer (1)
    • The left I/P outer air outlet duct (2)

  3. Disconnect the cruise control release switch electrical connector (3).

  4. Loosen the cruise control release switch lock nut.
  5. Remove the cruise control release switch (1) with the lock nut from the clutch pedal bracket by unscrewing it in the counterclockwise direction.
