STOPLAMP Switch: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the knee bolster. See KNEE BOLSTER  .
  2. Remove the following components from the instrument panel carrier: plastic retainer, the left side air outlet duct screw and the left side air outlet duct.
  3. Disconnect the stoplamp switch electrical connector. Remove the lock nut and remove the stoplamp switch. See Figure .
