Fuel Pump

Electric fuel pump is located in fuel tank. Fuel pressure regulator is also located in the fuel tank. Fuel pump delivers fuel to fuel rail and injectors where system pressure is controlled by the fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pump contains an internal check valve to maintain pressure in fuel lines after fuel pump is turned off.
