Shift Interlock Solenoid

Gearshift lever cannot be moved from Park position without simultaneously applying brake pedal with ignition switch turned to ON position. When brake pedal is applied, stoplamp switch interrupts circuit to A/T shift lock actuator, de-energizing A/T shift lock actuator, which unlocks gearshift lever from Park position.
