Installation Procedure

- Install the hood release cable to the hood latch.
- Align the hood latch to the marks on the center support bracket.
- Install the bolts that secure the hood latch to the center support.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the support bracket to the front upper fascia. Refer to Fascia Support Bracket Replacement - Front Upper in Bumpers.
- Install the upper radiator air baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle and Deflector Replacement - Upper in Engine Cooling.
- Adjust the hood, if required. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
- Close the hood.
