Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Remove the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  3. Fig 1: Liquid Line At Condenser

  4. Remove the liquid line nut from the condenser and position the liquid line aside.

  6. Remove the A/C compressor line nut from the condenser and position the A/C compressor line aside.

  8. Tilt the top of the condenser to the rear of the vehicle and lift up to remove the condenser.
  9. Ensure the lower rubber mounts stay in place in the vehicle.
  10. Remove the upper rubber mounts from the condenser.
