Front Door Trim Panel: Removal

  1. Remove upper trim finish panel screw. Remove upper trim finish panel. Remove trim panel screws (3) from trim panel. See Figure .
  2. On sedan models, remove screws (1) by pull handle. On coupe models, remove screw from armrest. Using Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover (J 38778) and starting at door bottom, disengage trim panel retainers.
  3. Lift up on trim panel to disengage inner belt molding from door flange. Remove trim panel from door. Disconnect power door lock switch harness connector (if equipped).
