Installation Procedure

  1. Install the clutch pressure plate and driven plate to the dowel pins.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install J 44747  to align the clutch.
  3. Install the clutch pressure plate bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the clutch pressure plate bolts to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).

  4. Remove the J 5824-01. 
  5. Install the manual transmission. Refer to TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT .
