Installation Procedure

NOTE: Do not start the engine with any power steering hose disconnected, or damage to the components could occur.
  1. Install the hydraulic brake booster inlet hose to vehicle.
  2. Connect the hydraulic brake booster inlet hose to the hydraulic brake booster.
  3. Raise the vehicle.
  4. Connect the hydraulic brake booster inlet hose to the power steering pump. Tighten the hydraulic brake booster inlet hose to the power steering pump to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
  5. Bleed the system. Refer to Bleeding Power Steering System  .
