When Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is activated, a digitally coded signal is sent to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR), located under instrument panel upper trim. RCDLR sends a command to Body Control Module (BCM) to carry out desired function. For power sliding door operation, RCDLR sends a direct signal to power sliding door.
