Last Door Closed Locking & Lockout Prevention Modes

  1. Enter feature customization mode. See ENTER FEATURE CUSTOMIZATION MODE  . Press and release power door lock switch to UNLOCK position. Count number of chimes in order to determine current mode (1-4). See LAST DOOR CLOSED LOCKING & LOCKOUT PREVENTION MODES  table.

    1 Disabled Disabled
    2 Disabled Enabled
    3 Enabled Disabled
    4 Enabled Enabled
  2. To change mode, press and release power door lock switch to UNLOCK position until desired mode is reached. Chime will sound number of times equivalent to mode. Chime indicator sequence will repeat after chime sounds for mode 4. Mode 4 is default mode.
  3. To exit and save current feature customization mode settings, turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Reinstall BCM PRGRM (10-amp) fuse. If unable to change modes, diagnose power door lock system fault. See DOORS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
