Code Enable Criteria

Conditions for running DTC:

• Engine coolant temperature is 158-230°F (70-110°C).
• Intake air temperature is 19-158°F (-7 to 70°C).
• Barometric pressure is greater than 75 kPa.
• Fuel tank level is less than 75 percent.
• Engine operating in closed-loop.
• Engine speed is 1000-3000 RPM (A/T) or 1000-3500 RPM (M/T).

Conditions for setting DTC:

• Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) exceeds a specified value when EVAP canister purge valve and EVAP canister vent valve are closed at the same time.
• The diagnostic may take up to 20 minutes to run.
