Remote Control Door Lock Receiver: Removal
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove 2 bolts (3) which secure instrument panel driver's side knee bolster trim (1). Position trim as necessary to gain access to instrument panel driver's side knee bolster reinforcement. See Fig 1
.
- Remove 2 bolts which secure reinforcement and lower knee bolster reinforcement (1). See Fig 2
.
- Remove plastic retainer (1) and left instrument panel outer air outlet duct (2). See Fig 3
.
- Remove screw (2) which secures junction block No. 2 (1) and position aside in order to gain necessary clearance to remove left instrument panel outer air outlet. See Fig 4
.
- Remove screw and left instrument panel outer air outlet (1). See Fig 5
.
- Disconnect remote control door lock receiver electrical connector.
- Remove Remote Control Door Lock (RCLDR) retaining nut and RCDLR (1) with mounting bracket attached. See Fig 6
.
- Depress retaining tab and remove mounting bracket from RCDLR, if necessary.
