Code Enable Criteria

Conditions for running DTC:

• Engine speed is greater than 1500 RPM.
• Vehicle speed is 20-50 MPH.
• Engine coolant temperature is 176°F (80°C) or greater.
• Intake air temperature is 14-158°F (-10 to 70°C).
• Barometric pressure is greater than 11 psi (75 kPa).
• Fuel level is greater than 25 percent.
• Engine operating in closed-loop.

Conditions for setting DTC:

• Maximum HO2S-2 voltage is less than 600 millivolts for at least 8 minutes.
• Minimum HO2S-2 voltage is 300 millivolts or greater for 5 seconds after maximum voltage check during fuel shutoff mode for 5 seconds.
