Trouble Shooting: Notes

Inspect for blown fuses. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . Ensure engine coolant level is adequate for Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) gauge operation. Ensure brake master cylinder fluid reservoir is adequately filled. Check bulb(s) for open or shorted filament if inoperative. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections. If problem is found, repair as necessary. If problem is not found, perform INSTRUMENT CLUSTER SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK  .
