Code Enable Criteria

PCM will run diagnostic for this DTC under the following conditions:

• No active IAT or ECT sensor DTCs are present.
• Minimum air temperature is more than 19°F (-7°C).
• Start-up engine coolant temperature is less than 122°F (50°C).
• In temperature region 1, air temperature is more than 50°F (10°C) and start-up coolant temperature is more than 50°F (10°C).
• In temperature region 2, air temperature is more than 20°F (-7°C) and start-up coolant temperature is between 20°F (-7°C) and 50°F (10°C).
• In temperature region 3, air temperature is more than 20°F (-7°C) and start-up coolant temperature is between -40°F (-40°C) and 20°F (-7°C).

In temperature region 1, DTC will set when the following conditions exist:

• Engine run time is more than 127 seconds to achieve closed loop temperature of 64°F (15°C).
• Calibrated minimum amount of total airflow has been exceeded.
• Maximum idle time is less than 95 seconds.

In temperature region 2, DTC will set when the following conditions exist:

• Engine run time is more than 280 seconds to achieve closed loop temperature of 64°F (15°C).
• Calibrated minimum amount of total airflow has been exceeded.
• Maximum idle time is less than 210 seconds.

In temperature region 3, DTC will set when the following conditions exist:

• Engine run time is more than 439 seconds to achieve closed loop temperature of 59°F (15°C).
• Calibrated minimum amount of total airflow has been exceeded.
• Maximum idle time is less than 329 seconds.
