The theft deterrent system on this vehicle is comprised of 2 separate systems: Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) system and Vehicle Theft Deterrent (VTD) system. CTD system is an alarm system that discourages unauthorized entry into vehicle. VTD system prevents drive away theft by keeping vehicle from starting. VTD system will be referred to as Personal Automotive Security System (PASS-Key(R)).
