Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove cruise control cable. See CRUISE CONTROL CABLE  . Disconnect Cruise Control Module (CCM) harness connector. Remove 2 nuts securing CCM and mounting bracket to vehicle. Remove CCM from mounting bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Adjust cruise control cable. See CRUISE CONTROL CABLE  under ADJUSTMENTS. Tighten all CCM fasteners to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).
