Windshield wiper/washer system consists of these following components:

Wiper motor and transmission module.
Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
Washer pump.
Washer solvent reservoir.
Wiper/washer switch.

Wiper/washer system operates in these following modes:

WASH
MIST
DELAY
LO
HI

When wiper/washer switch is turned off, windshield wiper motor returns wipers to park position. Voltage is applied to through an accessory voltage circuit when ignition switch is in ACCY or RUN position. Windshield wiper motor is equipped with radio frequency interference (RFI) suppression.
