Code Enable Criteria

For DTC to run, the following conditions must be met:

• Engine load is less than 87 percent.
• Engine speed is less than 5000 RPM.
• Vehicle speed is more than 10 MPH.
• Misfire DTC is occurring and is requesting the MIL to be illuminated.

Conditions for setting DTC:

• PCM is detecting a loss of communication with EBCM for at least 5 seconds.
