Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the steering wheel control switch.
  2. Install the steering wheel control switch to the steering wheel.

  3. Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Install the steering wheel control switch mounting screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the mounting screws to 2 N.m (20 lb in).

  4. Install the horn switch plunger.
  5. Install the steering wheel module. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement in SIR.
