Shift Cable: Removal
- Remove the throttle body air inlet duct. Use a flat-blade tool in order to remove the retaining clip from the shift cable at the shift cable bracket. See Fig 1
.
- Use a large flat-blade tool in order to remove the shift cable from the manual control lever. See Figure
. Use pliers in order to depress the cable retainers.
- Remove the shift cable from the shift cable bracket. Remove the knee bolster.
- Remove the retaining clip from the shift cable at steering column. Remove the shift cable from the column control lever. See Fig 2
.
- Remove the shift cable from the steering column bracket. See Fig 3
. Remove the shift cable through the hole in the cowl. See Fig 4
