Control Arm: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Place jackstands under frame. Lower vehicle slightly so that weight of vehicle rests on jackstands and not on control arms. Remove front wheel assemblies. Disconnect ABS wheel speed sensor.
- Remove stabilizer bar from control arm. See STABILIZER BAR & BUSHING ASSEMBLY . Remove castle nut and separate ball joint from steering knuckle using Ball Joint Separator (J-41820). See BALL JOINT . Remove control arm mounting bolts and remove control arm.
