Power Seat System Check

  1. Move driver/passenger seat adjuster switch in any direction. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in any direction, see TEST D: BOTH POWER SEATS INOPERATIVE  or TEST E: ONE POWER SEAT INOPERATIVE  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  2. Move driver/passenger seat adjuster switch to forward and rearward positions. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST F: POWER SEAT DOES NOT MOVE FORWARD OR REARWARD  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  3. Move driver/passenger seat adjuster switch to move front of seat up and down. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST G: POWER SEAT DOES NOT TILT UP OR DOWN  under SYSTEM TESTS.
