Test 7: Security Message Inoperative

NOTE: SECURITY indicator light is on, flashing at all times or is inoperative.

Check CTD system operation. See CONTENT THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Go to next step.
Turn ignition switch to RUN position, engine off. Observe battery indicator light on reconfigurable display. If battery indicator light does not turn on during bulb check, go to next step. If battery indicator light turns on during bulb check, check for intermittent problem.
