Test C: Scan Tool Displays Undefined DTCS: Diagnosis

  1. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . Go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Install scan tool. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear any stored DTCs. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition on. If undefined DTC(s) resets, go to next step. If undefined DTC(s) do not reset, go to step  4 .
  3. Replace EBCM. See BRAKE PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE & ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs, go to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  4. Malfunction is not present at this time.
