Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument cluster trim plate bezel. Refer to Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (IP Cluster Trim Panel Bezel)  in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.

  2. Remove the control assembly.
    1. Release the retaining tabs.
    2. Pull the control head out of the instrument panel carrier.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the control assembly.
