Diagnostic Aids

Always diagnose first DTC listed on scan tool. Ensure scan tool displays B2961 as a current code before proceeding. If circuit No. 80 has been shorted to battery voltage, inspect switch at top of ignition lock cylinder (switch for key in ignition) for possible damage due to short to battery condition. Perform visual checks of wiring, fuses and harness connectors for intermittent, open and poor connections.
