Abs & Brake Warning Lights

Amber ABS and Red BRAKE warning lights are located on instrument panel. ABS light will illuminate during engine start for about 3 seconds. Red BRAKE light will illuminate when ignition is in START position. Red BRAKE light will stay on if parking brake is on, brake fluid is low and when an ABS fault could interfere with base brake operation. If Amber ABS light stays on, a malfunction is present in ABS system. If Amber ABS light flashes, ABS malfunction may affect normal brake operation and anti-lock braking function will be disabled until system is repaired.
