System Operation Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Press and release washer switch. Windshield washer pump should squirt washer fluid on windshield. Wipers should make 1-4 sweeps and return to Park position.
  2. Move wiper/washer switch to LO position. Wipers should operate at low speed. Move wiper/washer switch to HI position. Wipers should operate at high speed.
  3. Move wiper/washer switch to INT position. Adjust delay time up and down. Wipers should operate in intermittent mode with delay times changing with adjustment.
  4. Move wiper/washer switch to OFF position. Wiper should complete cycle and return to Park position. If wiper system does not function properly, perform appropriate symptom test. See SYMPTOM INDEX  table under SYMPTOM TESTS.
