DTC B2600: DRL Error: Description

DTC B2600 indicates that a system problem has occurred that is preventing Daytime Running Lights (DRL) system from operating properly. DTC B2600 can set when ignition is on, headlight switch is off, parking brake is off and transaxle is in gear. DTC will set due to an open or short to power.

When DTC B2600 is set, DRL relay will turn off, service indicator illuminates, and chime sounds. DTC B2600 can be cleared when fault state is exited when ignition 3 input becomes inactive. DTC B2600 can also be cleared using scan tool, or history DTC will disappear after 100 ignition cycles if fault conditions do not reoccur.
