Rear Suspension: Description
Suspension consists of dual coil springs over single struts, and lightweight, aluminum knuckles. Each wheel is mounted to a tri-link, independent suspension system. See Fig 1 . The 3 links are identified as the inverted "U" channel trailing arm and the stamped front and rear lateral links. Parallel links allow rear wheels to deflect rearward when a road hazard is hit, without moving positive toe. Links control lateral wheel deflection.
