Auto Learn Procedure

NOTE: This procedure must be performed after ignition switch replacement.

Following scan tool manufacturer's instructions, clear all DTCs. With transmission in Park (A/T) or Neutral (M/T), turn ignition switch to START position. Vehicle should start and then stall. Leave ignition in RUN position (engine off) until SECURITY indicator light turns off (about 10 minutes). Turn ignition off for 10 seconds. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. On next start attempt, BCM will learn new data. Reprogram PCM. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
