Test D: One Mirror Inoperative
- If left mirror is inoperative, go to next step. If right mirror is inoperative, go to step 4 .
- Disconnect left power mirror motor harness connector. Using test light connected to ground, probe left mirror motor harness connector terminal "B" (Light Green wire). See Figure . With left mirror selected, move power mirror switch to left. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, go to step 5 .
- Check for poor connection or open in Light Green wire between power mirror switch harness connector terminal "B" and left power mirror motor harness connector terminal "B". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, replace power mirror switch. After repair, perform system operation check. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Disconnect right mirror motor harness connector. Using test light connected to ground, probe right power mirror motor harness connector terminal "B" (Red/White wire). See Figure . With right power mirror selected, move power mirror switch to left. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6 .
- Replace power mirror motor pack. After repair, perform system operation check. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Check for poor connection or open in Red/White wire between power mirror switch harness connector C1 terminal "B" and right mirror harness connector terminal "B". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, replace power mirror switch. After repair, perform system operation check. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
