Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Connect the coaxial cable to the rear of the radio.
Connect the electrical/audio connector to the rear of the radio.

Install the radio to the instrument panel.
IMPORTANT: If the radio locator tab is difficult to align to the IP locator opening, pull the radio toward you and reposition the antenna cable.
Align the radio locator tab to the IP locator opening while pressing the radio into the instrument panel until fully seated.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE
Install the bolts to the radio.
Tighten

Tighten the radio bolts to 3 N.m (25 lb in).
Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - IP ACCESSORY
