Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hood to the vehicle with an assistant.
  2. Align the hood hinges to alignment marks on the hood.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolts to the upper hood hinge with an assistant.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

  4. Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
