Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the license lamp bulb to the lamp socket, if removed.
  2. Align the license lamp lens to the license lamp base, then press to secure the retaining tabs, if removed.
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the license lamp.
  4. Align the license lamp assembly to the opening in the rear compartment lid, then press to secure the retaining tabs.

  5. Install the rear compartment lid trim to the rear compartment lid.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  6. Install the rear compartment lid trim screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the rear compartment lid trim screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  7. Close the rear compartment.
