Cruise Control System - Gasoline: Description

Cruise control is a speed control system that maintains a desired vehicle speed under normal driving conditions. Steep grades may cause variations in selected speeds. System has capability to cruise, coast, resume speed, accelerate, and tap-up and tap-down.

The main components of the cruise control system include the cruise control module, functional control switches, Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) and TCC/brakelight switch. TCC/brakelight switch may also be referred to as brakelight switch. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS  .
