Test D: Driver Door Lock Inoperative With Transmitter

  1. Test transmitter operation. See TRANSMITTER TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. Go to next step.
  2. Disconnect left front door lock actuator motor connector. Connect test light between left front door lock actuator motor connector terminal "B" (Gray wire) and ground. Press transmitter LOCK button. If test light is off, go to next step . If test light is on, go to step  4 .
  3. Repair open in Gray wire between left front door lock actuator motor connector and splice S244. Go to step  5 .
  4. Replace RCDLR. See REMOTE CONTROL DOOR LOCK RECEIVER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Reprogram replacement RCDLR to transmitter(s). See PROGRAMMING  . Go to next step.
  5. Operate system to verify repair.
