Front-End Discriminating Sensor: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  .
  2. Front-end discriminating sensor is located below front-end lower tie bar. Remove CPA clip and disconnect sensor harness connector. Remove sensor mounting fasteners. Remove sensor. See Figure .
