Front-End Discriminating Sensor: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  2. Front-end discriminating sensor is located below front-end lower tie bar, also referred to as lower radiator support. See Figure. Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip and disconnect front end discriminating sensor harness connector. Remove sensor mounting bolts. Remove sensor.
