Visual & Operational Inspection

Before performing tests, perform a visual inspection of the following items:

• Inspect PWR ACC fuse (15-amp) for an open. If fuse is open, check Orange wire for a short to ground between fuse block and affected front door switch.
• Inspect RFA BATT fuse (10-amp) for an open. If fuse is open, check Orange wire for a short to ground between underhood fuse block and body control module.
• Inspect ground splice connector located at right front of passenger compartment.
• Inspect door lock system for mechanical binding.
• If one actuator does not operate properly, but other actuators operate normally, inspect wiring to suspect actuator. If wiring is okay, check for a poor connection. If connections are okay, replace suspect actuator.
• Always check terminal contact before replacing any component.
• Inspect for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect system operation.
