Circuit Description

PCM uses the serial data circuit to communicate with various other devices and systems in the vehicle. PCM ensures that communication remain established by monitoring the serial data circuit for State Of Health (SOH) messages from other devices using the circuit. DTC will set when PCM detects a loss of SOH signal data message from the EBTCM for more than 5 seconds.
