Trunk Release Inoperative With Transmitter

NOTE: A short to ground will cause an open fuse. Check fuse for an open. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  1. Place transaxle in Park or Neutral. Using a test lamp, backprobe between left instrument panel electrical center connector C3 (30-pin Black connector) terminal A10 and battery positive voltage. See Figure . If test lamp lights, go to next step. If test lamp does not light, replace left instrument panel electrical center and retest system.
  2. Using a test lamp, backprobe between remote control door lock receiver connector terminals "M" and "P". See Figure . If test lamp lights, replace remote control door lock receiver. If test lamp does not light, repair open in Yellow wire between remote control door lock receiver and left instrument panel electrical center and retest system.
