"UNLOCK" Function Inoperative With Transmitter On All Doors

NOTE: A short to ground will cause an open fuse. Check fuse for an open. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  1. Disconnect remote control door lock receiver connector. Connect test lamp between door lock receiver connector terminals "P" and "B". See Figure . If all doors unlock, replace remote control door lock receiver. If all doors do not unlock, go to next step.
  2. Reconnect remote control door lock receiver connector. Using a fused jumper wire, backprobe between left instrument panel electrical center connector C3 (30-pin Black connector) terminal B5 and battery positive voltage. See Figure . If all doors unlock, repair open in White wire between remote control door lock receiver and left instrument panel electrical center and retest system. If all doors do not unlock, replace left instrument panel electrical center and retest system.
