Test 2: Left Mirror Does Not Operate
- Select left mirror. Using a test light, backprobe between power mirror switch terminals "E" (Light Blue wire) and "J" (White wire). See Figure . Move power mirror switch to left and right positions. If test light illuminates in both positions, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate in both positions, go to step 4 .
- Using a test light, backprobe between power mirror switch terminals "E" (Light Blue wire) and "K" (Light Green wire). Move power mirror switch to up and down positions. If test light illuminates in both positions, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate in both positions, go to step 4 .
- Disconnect left power mirror motor connector. Connect test light between left mirror motor connector terminal "A" (Light Blue wire) and ground. Move power mirror switch to left position. If test light illuminates, go to step 5 . If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6 .
- Replace power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
- Connect test light between left mirror motor connector terminal "B" (White wire) and ground. Move power mirror switch to right position. If test light illuminates, go to step 7 . If test light does not illuminate, go to step 8 .
- Repair open in Light Blue wire between left mirror motor connector terminal "A" and power mirror switch connector "E". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Recheck system operation.
- Connect test light between left mirror motor connector terminal "C" (Light Green wire) and ground. Move power mirror switch to down position. If test light illuminates, go to step 9 . If test light does not illuminate, go to step 10 .
- Repair open in White wire between left mirror motor connector terminal "B" and power mirror switch connector terminal "J". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Recheck system operation.
- Replace left mirror motor. To remove power mirror assembly, see POWER MIRROR ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
- Repair open in Light Green wire between left mirror motor connector terminal "C" and power mirror switch connector terminal "K". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Recheck system operation.
