Spring Shackle: Installation

  1. Install the shackle to the frame.
  2. Install the shackle bolt.
  3. Install the shackle nut. Tighten the bolt to 103 ft. lbs. (140 N.m).
  4. Install the rear spring to the shackle. See LEAF SPRING  . Tighten the nut to 74 ft. lbs. (100 N.m).
