Both Left & Right Windows Inoperative

  1. Check PWR WDO/RR VENT circuit breaker (30-amp) located in instrument panel fuse block. If circuit breaker is open, go to next step. If circuit breaker is not open, go to step 3).
  2. Repair short to ground in Brown wire between fuse block and left front window switch. Recheck system operation.
  3. Disconnect left front window switch. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using test light connected to ground, backprobe left window switch connector terminal "H" (Brown wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 7).
  4. Using test light, backprobe between left front window switch terminals "H" (Brown wire) and "G" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6).
  5. Replace left front window switch. Recheck system operation.
  6. Repair poor connection or open in Black wire between left front window switch and ground. Recheck system operation.
  7. Repair poor connection or open in Brown wire between fuse block and splice S307. Recheck system operation.
