One Power Mirror Inoperative In Up/Down Positions
- If left-side power mirror is inoperative, go to next step. If right-side power mirror is inoperative, go to step 6).
- Disconnect left-side power mirror harness connector. Connect test light between left-side power mirror harness connector terminal "C" (Yellow wire) and ground. Using mirror select switch, select left-side power mirror. Move and hold power mirror switch in UP position. If test light illuminates, go to step 7). If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Check for poor connection or open in Yellow wire between left-side power mirror and power mirror switch. If circuit is not okay, go to next step. If circuit is okay, go to step 5).
- Repair poor connection or open in Yellow wire between left-side power mirror and power mirror switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Recheck system operation.
- Replace power mirror switch. Recheck system operation.
- Disconnect right-side power mirror harness connector. Connect test light between right-side power mirror harness connector terminal "C" (Brown/White wire) and ground. Using mirror select switch, select right-side power mirror. Move and hold power mirror switch in UP position. If test light illuminates, go to step 10). If test light does not illuminate, go to step 8).
- Replace left-side power mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
- Check for poor connection or open in Brown/White wire between right-side power mirror and power mirror switch. If circuit is not okay, go to next step. If circuit is okay, go to step 5).
- Repair poor connection or open in Brown/White wire between right-side power mirror and power mirror switch. Recheck system operation.
- Replace right-side power mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
